Living the Purposed Life
In the world today, it seems everyone is in search of an easier life, more conveniences, faster results and by all means with as little effort as possible. We are paying a high price for those things. Those things we think we want, are not necessarily the things we really need.
The pace of our lives is spinning out of control at a dizzying speed, and life is just a blur. As one who has lived numerous decades on the planet, I have watched the pace accelerate over time from, balanced and comfortable to a velocity barely manageable. Sometimes I feel like screaming, stop the world, I want to get off! Hello, My name is Linda Darlene of LindaDarlene.com, I am glad you are here.
The life of mankind was designed, to keep rhythm with his surroundings. It is that rhythm that allows us to comfortably march through our days, instead of trying to run a marathon.
If you feel like you are exhausted from running a marathon, if you are counting the days until your next vacation so that you can slow down, then I am here to tell you, you probably don’t have enough vacation time or money.
If you are reading this today and are looking to find some answers to help, then stay with me. What I am offering, cannot be bought or sold. There is no monetary price attached to it. It is not a hidden secret but visible to all, all who care to slow down long enough to see and know. You see it is knowledge. The most powerful of all tools is knowledge.
True knowledge has its foundation in proven fact, is infallible and indisputable. Knowledge is truth, but knowledge not applied is not necessarily understanding. We may know something to be true but until we apply its principles, we never achieve any applicable understanding. That which we can use and benefit from.
Applying Design Principles to Life
Any student of art or design has studied principles known to make for the best creations. When applied they work the piece or the whole into something pleasing and beautiful, something to treasure and enjoy. Known for centuries are those five basic principles:
Just as in art and creations these principles also hold the keys to all things desired. Applying these principles to everyday life will bring order and contentment amid the chaos. We cannot stop the chaos of the world, but we can subdue and control the chaos in our individual lives. It is just a matter of knowledge, and making a choice.
Many years ago I read the quote, “If nothing changes, nothing changes”. The quote has been versed many ways but all with the same meaning. Since reading it, I have not forgotten it, and quote and apply it when needed.
Life is full of changes, many we have no control over yet many we do. It may surprise you to learn just how many changes have been propelled into motion by your personal choices. Whether they were good or not so good, as far as choices go, they were nonetheless rooted in a decision.
If you want your life to truly be content and have peace, it requires a decision, a choice. But with that choice a desire, a passion, to achieve the end result through, “Living a Purposed Life.”
I hope that you will join me in gaining the knowledge that can change your life forever. But you must make that choice on “Purpose” and then “Purpose” yourself to live and apply it.
“What in your life feels chaotic or overwhelming and out of control?” ” What changes would you be willing to make to live free of the chaos”?
